Abstract:
The beginnings of the concept and practices date back in time but with a greater emphasis during the 20th century. Nowadays, the definition and conceptual delimitations are subject to debate and controversy. According to the type of responsibilities assumed, the enterprise can adopt different attitudes. The socially responsible practices are initiatives that a company takes in order to voluntarily improve the way of operating such that to contribute to the good of the community and to the protection of the environment
