Abstract:
The aim of this paper covers a definition of the issue of inadequate quality of Business Case (BC) implementaiton in a model organization. A secondary objective is the definition of BC in relation to IT Governance. Presented methodologies (such as COBIT, ValueIT, RiskIT, PMBOK, PRINCE2) are applied on investment management and financial management in the IT field. Appropriate processes and checkpoints of those methodologies are chosen to suggest the proper procedures of an audit within a model organization.
