Politická ekonomie Davida Ricarda I

Political economy of David Ricardo the I

Robert Holman

Politická ekonomie, 1998, vol. 1998, issue 1

Abstract: David Ricardo is one of most remarkable economist in economic history. He followed up with A.Smith and gave new directions, too. We discover two main contributions in his work. The first one was an effort to find regularity in distribution (theory of differential rent). The second one was the principle of comparative advantages in an international trade. Ricardo influenced a political economy even by methodological side. He was the first, who used to abstract theoretical model as a base tool for recognition. The text is divided into two parts. The first part brings the theory of distribution and value theory.
