L'article propose de faire le point sur les jeux d'appariement (initiés par Gale et Shapley [1962]) modélisant les marchés où chaque transaction implique une rela­tion durable avec un partenaire. Dans un jeu coopératif bilatéral, n + m joueurs cherchent à s'apparier. Or, les agents étant assimilés à des ensembles indivisibles de caractéristiques hétérogènes, un ajustement walrasien par les prix n'est plus approprié : un « algorithme-institution » stable doit coordonner les appariements. À la suite des principaux résultats théoriques de la littérature, une réflexion appliquée à la coordination du marché du travail (où se forment des relations d'emploi) permettra de caractériser les sous-marchés dont l'environnement assure la pertinence d'une telle modélisation. This paper's purpose is to assess the current state of the two-sided matching games (initiated by Gale and Shapley [1962]) aiming to model markets where each transaction implies a long relation with a partner. In a two-sided co-operative game, n+m players want to be matched with each other. Agents are indivisible sets of heterogeneous traits, and consequently the clearing walrasian process is no longer appropriate. Thus, a stable institutional algorithm has to coordinate the matches. We present the essential principles of two-sided matchings, and a study applied to the coordination of the labour market (where employment relations are linked) will result in the characterisation of the sub-markets where these models are relevant.
