Abstract:
The article discusses the life and works of Sidney Weintraub on the occasion of the centenary of his birth. The author briefly recalls Weintraub’s contribution to the journal and to the series of “Recollections”, commenting on their personal relations. The article reviews Weintraub’s research focusing on the main differences between American post-Keynesianism and the Cambridge (UK) post-Keynesian school, recalling in particular Weintraub’s original theories of prices and income distribution.
