ANALYSIS AND FORECAST OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS DURATION THROUGH MARKOVIAN MODELS

Mariana Nicolae-Balan ()

Journal for Economic Forecasting, 2004, vol. 1, issue 1, 43-51

Abstract: With the help of the Markov chains, the paper analyzes the evolution of the educational process in Romania and attempts to forecast the higher education number of graduates that will enter the labor force. Also, according to the initial assumptions of the model, may be obtained information as regards the length of the learning process for every educational level.
