REORGANIZATION OF THE INDUSTRY – A PREMISE FOR ROMANIA’S REGIONAL SPECIALIZATION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE INTEGRATION INTO THE EU

Carmen Pauna ()

Journal for Economic Forecasting, 2001, issue 2, 97-101

Abstract: The paper argues for the necessity of a in-depth study on the reorganization of the industry which should take into account the future impact of the trade liberalization between Romania and EU, the access of Romanian companies to the western markets, the probable changes in the location of industrial activities and the fact that the most severely affected regions will be those with monopolistic structures.
