Abstract:
The paper aims to describe the structural changes in the consumer goods supply in Romania since 1990 to 1998. In order to reveal the structural evolution of the 34 CANE sectors the authors used the data from the national accounts input-output tables. The results obtained make known the existence of a restructuring process of the supply system that has to adapt to the type of economic growth based on new equilibrium and resources limited by energy restrictions and scarcity of raw materials, but benefiting from the advantages of the new economy.
