Abstract:
The paper analyses the Romanian personal computer market regarding the impact of the Moore law linked to the exponential growth prediction of the integrated circuits. As recent statistics published on the Intel web site confirm his law, we find that the Romanian market is also respecting the same type of exponential growth. There are also included short-term predictions (for 2004) regarding the personal computer sales market (processor frequency, HDD capacity and RAM).
