Abstract: This paper discusses the trends of innovative development of small and medium enterprises in Ukraine, and special aspects in the present conditions of economic crisis. The essence and characteristic features of this development, the need to obtain the support of business innovation in the state, the nature of the support, the possible positive effects and obtaining economic benefit are defined. As well the possibility of financial support from other sources, including foreign ones, are defined.
