Abstract: There are many ways by which globalization has been defined. People around the world are more linked to each other than ever before. Information and money flow more speedily. Goods and services produced in one part of the world are increasingly obtainable in all parts of the world. International travel is more common. International communication is simple and fast. This fact has been termed as “globalization.” The positive and negative affects of globalization and the groups that resist and support globalization are many. Some of the impacts of globalization can be seen on small farmers in developed and developing countries. Corporate globalization has impacted the rural communities in several ways. This paper presents impacts globalization on small farms.
