Organizing the Voluntary Association

Abstract: This article offers a cursory overview of academic and practitioner-based approaches to understanding the process of creating voluntary associations (e.g., direct action community organizations, unions, and social movements). A model outlining the actions involved in forming a direct action community association Is offered.
