Abstract:

This article is dedicated to the exploration of the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on the development of national information economy of Ukraine. The authors determine the basic ICT factors of economic development, give their brief description and the results of action. They examine the effect of information technology on the transition to a new stage of development and formation of the information economy and information society. The paper analyzes the current state of ICT in Ukraine and the country's position in the world rankings according to the main indicators of ICT development in the world. The main reasons of the low positions of Ukraine in the world rankings for the development of information technology are determined. The authors mark out the main ways of improving the ICT functioning, and the normative documents and government programs that regulate the development of information technologies and information society in Ukraine. The article shows the importance of the introduction of e-governance that will improve the current situation of ICT in the country and simplify the communication of citizens and authorities.

Стаття присвячена дослідженню впливу інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій (ІКТ) на розвиток національної та інформаційної економіки України. Визначено основні ІКТ-чинники економічного розвитку, наведена їхня коротка характеристика та результат дії. Розглянутовплив інформаційних технологій на перехід до нової стадії розвитку та формування інформаційної економіки й інформаційного суспільства. Проаналізовано сучасний стан ІКТ в Україні та позицію країни в світових рейтингах, за основними показниками розвитку ІКТ усвіті. Визначено основні причини низьких позицій України в світових рейтингах за розвитком інформаційних технологій. Зазначено основні шляхи вдосконалення рівня функціонування ІКТ, а також нормативні документи та державні програми, що регулюють розвиток інформаційних технологій та розбудову інформаційного суспільства в Україні. Обґрунтовано важливість повноцінного введення в дію електронного урядування, що дозволить покращити існуюче становище ІКТ в країні та спростити процес комунікації громадян та органів влади.
