Abstract:

The quality system is referred to as the instrument of constant pressure on product’s prime cost. At dawn of the quality systememerging, when the instruments were aimed only at guaranteeing the compliance of every produced item with the issued certificate,scholars searched for the ways of lowering the chances of consumers’ buying low-quality products and at the same time reducing costs tominimum. Thus the concept “quality expenses” appeared. The essence of the given costs as well as the history of term’s development havebeen researched; attempt to give the definition to quality expenses on the basis of process approach has been made in the article.

Під системою якості сьогодні розуміють інструмент безперервного тиску на собівартість. А на зорі виникнення систем якості, коли вони призначалися тільки гарантувати відповідність будь-якої одиниці випущеній продукції сертифікату на неї, учені шукали шляхи, щоб недоброякісна продукція не потрапила споживачеві і при цьому витрати були б мінімальними. Так виникло поняття витрат на якість. Досліджено зміст даних витрат, історія розвитку термінології,зроблена спроба надати визначення витратам на якість продукції на основі процесного підходу.
