Transaction costs in the informational economy

Abstract: In the article existing approaches to the category study of the transaction costs have been systematized and their essence and role in the informational economy have been investigated; the essence of the informational economy and its features have been analyzed; the criteria for information becoming a special factor of production have been worked out; the forms of the organization of enterprise activity under the conditions of the informational economy have been studied; the factors exercising influence on the level of the transaction costs in the informational economy have been determined and the system of measures aimed at minimizing them has been offered.
