Abstract: In the present research paper the study of the economic category "crediting" was held and its’ economic content was precised from the point of view of the functional purpose of a credit. The basic problems and ways of their solutions in the field of crediting development were pointed out on the basis of the analysis of the small-scale business crediting development status in Ukraine.
