Abstract: The article considers the financial terms and principles of accelerating delivery of cargo and passenger railways of Ukraine highlighted the shortcomings of the existing system of financing the development of rail transport, the proposed areas to improve the financial and economic mechanism of acceleration of traffic on railways.
