Abstract: Quite a bit prominent economists tried as possible richer in content to interpret the concept of monetary policy. Before determination concepts "monetary policy" apply different approaches. Many authors interpret a monetary policy as one of two leading facilities, by means of that government bodies in a market economy regularly influence on a rate and direction of the general economy growing, including not only the level of gross product and employment but also general level of increase or price decline. However most determinations have certain defects and failures to complete, namely absence of clear formulation of concept, and also fallaciousness of some statements. For this reason in the article this sphere of state influence is analysed and more complete and clear determination of concept is given monetary policy.
