Abstract: Success of innovative process on a railway transport depends on that, in what measure direct participants are a personnel busy in an innovative process, interested in development economically of effective innovative decisions and their rapid introduction on the railways of Ukraine. One of the ways of innovative activity development in the region is the promotion of workers to the development and introduction of innovations. With the purpose of increase of interest of the workers of railway transport in improving the level of innovation development and performance of the entire Railways, improved methods of calculation of the amount of the award for railway workers for the invention of new machinery and progressive technologies, by taking into account the peculiarities of activities of railway transport of Ukraine and the extent of innovation within the entire railway, and not only within a single structural unit.
