Abstract: The article considers approaches to improving transport and logistics service international freight transport. It is determined that the integrated provision of transportation and logistics services within the development of the logistics infrastructure of the country and integration into the European space is one of the most priority directions of improvement of the system of transport and logistics service domestic enterprises in the international cargo transportation. The process of increasing competition on the international market of transport services requires new approaches to the development of the transport relations, the creation of new technologies, improvement of quality of services. Modern development of the market of transport services, particularly in Europe, have shown that during the formation of international freight terminal freight logistics centers become basic controls product flow. It is proved that with a combination of automotive and railway transport (most widely used in Ukraine for the implementation of multimodal transport, logistics centers are the most beneficial point of their interaction. The conclusion is made that this process, particularly in Ukraine is complicated by the fact that logistics centers often are under development, and the lack of equipment and lack of cooperation mechanism of different types of transport inhibits the development of a multimodal transportation system. Thus, the current at the present time is to develop a mechanism for the participation of enterprises in the logistics centre and use of the multimodal transportation system, taking into account the possible organizational and infrastructural transformation.
