Implementation of logistics principles in the provision of transport services by railway

Abstract: Currently on the state and sectoral levels should be given opportunities and remove obstacles to the establishment of an integrated transport and logistics system. The expediency of applying the principles of logistics and the development of the concept of a system of integrated transport and logistics centers based on the rail. Integrated transport and logistics centers are functional elements of the logistics system transportation hub, being one of the links in the supply chain for the delivery of goods between supplier and customer. The main objective of integrated transport and logistics center extension given the complex transport and logistics services and reduce their cost by concentrating in a single center, as well as the integration of different kinds of logistics services through the establishment of joint ventures on a corporate basis.
