Abstract: Purpose. Structuring information basis of analysis and evaluation of mining processing production in the context of environmental activities allowed to form the author's vision of gathering information approaches about the object of study regarding its key role in the economic system of the metallurgical complex and significant systemic anthropogenic impact on the environment. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the structure of the information basis of analysis and decision making of mining processing production in the context of environmental activities. Methodology. The main methods of research is sum of analyze, synthesis and formalizing. The method of expert assessments used for determination of the nature of economic efficiency of mining plants production. Findings. The review of scientific sources for defining of an essence of the production economic efficiency and information basis for its analysis were considered. The structure of informational basis of economic analysis of mining production economic efficiency of iron ore mining plants was given. Originality. An author's adaptation the use of the principle of parallel integration of production and environmental management strategies are developed. Practical Implementation. A transformation of traditional business portfolio in environmentally oriented conditions for parallel integrated production management was suggested.
