Abstract: In the article the necessity of innovative development of enterprises of railway transport. Researched existing scientific publications on the issue of innovative development of enterprises of the industry and peculiarities of construction and operation of innovation centers. It is determined that a key element in ensuring the effectiveness of innovative activity of the enterprises of railway transport of Ukraine, taking into account the current economic conditions, is the creation of innovation centers, which include the departments of: marketing and intellectual property, logistics, engineering Department. The activities of this center should be directed not only to external but also the internal environment that will provide additional economic benefits.
