Abstract: The article is devoted to a special place in the consideration of investment activity of search and highlighting of sources of investment resources. There are highlighted internal and external sources of investment in the analysis of sources of financing investment. The classification of investment sources should be specific to different legal organizational forms. The questions of identifying of sources of funding and providing investment needs do not lose their relevance, and become particularly important in times of economic and financial crisis, when risks of investment projects are significantly higher. The basic characteristics of the sources of investment resources modeling of companies are shown. Type of sources of investment needs covering defines methods of investment activity financing. Methods of investment activity financing of enterprises with characteristic of positive and negative points of sources are shown. Methods of financing of investment activity are due to definite factors which are used under certain conditions.
