Abstract:
The article presents a classification of Polish regions according to the structure of gross value added in sectors of the economy between 2004 and 2010. In addition, the degree of changes in the structure of GVA was examined using Kullback–Leibler divergence. The analysis shows that the greatest variation occurred in 2004–2006. From 2007 to 2010, the change in the classification of regions was insignificant.
