Abstract:
The paper shows interactive maps as a potential tool for supporting investment processes. It presents interactive maps as a part of modern GIS technology. Interactive maps are treated as a kind of enlarged GIS technology. The paper focuses on an application of interactive maps in an investment processes realized in local government units. The application is showed on the basis of a phase by phase description of the investment processes procedure.
