Specificity of the e-patients’ behaviours on the Internet

Abstract: The article presents the issues relating to the characteristics of e-patients and identifies behaviours of patients who are using the Internet. The considerations were based on literature and conducted research. The purpose of this article is to examine the role of e-patients and to determine the specificity of their behaviour in collecting, using and generating health information.
