Abstract: The Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) programme proposed by the European Commission consists in implementing a new system of research and innovation based on the two following premises: research or innovation is the response to the real needs of the social, environmental, cultural nature, and it implies activities not causing social, environmental, or economic harm. The paper discusses the tools for developing the Responsible Research and Innovation system.
