The implementation of business intelligence systems in government

Abstract: Business Intelligence provides data in order to make the best decisions. While BI systems are widely used in commercial organizations, utilization of data-based decision support systems in government is in its early stages. Some of the reasons for such immaturity are presented here, based on a case-study of the implementation of BI in government.
