Abstract: The paper discusses the concept of added value to energy services. Due to the changes on the energy market, electric power companies must change their business models, shift towards a client-centric and data driven approach. Beside some background information considering added value to energy services, the paper presents a comparison of the research concerning young energy customers’ attitude towards energy information based on the surveys conducted in 2013 and 2016.
