Data Governance as an Element of Implementation Open Government Concept

Abstract: This article discusses the concept of an open government, with an emphasis on open data. Issues related to the wide implementation of open data mechanisms in Polish offices were highlighted. It was indicated that data openness issues could be improved through the implementation of Data Governance. The concept of framework for implementing Data Governance in offices is also presented.
