Abstract: The article presents selected issues concerning transformation of the communication model in organization management and functioning of the information society. It also characterizes IT in transformational processes. Literary analysis and research by the author leads to the recommendation of the network communication model as a contemporary model, meeting the needs of both management and the information society. The existing trend of information technology development shows that the network communication model will be the basic national information system. The national information system will be the solution that will benefit both organizations and society. In the final part of the paper an analysis of the factors influencing the efficiency of the communication system was conducted.
