Abstract: The research objective has been to identify the applicability of the software solution Indicators of Sustainable Development, designed by the Main Statistical Office (GUS) in Poland, to assist in the determination of a degree of sustainability in selected areas. For the purposes of this review, some of the indicators, namely five from each order, were chosen and applied to make an assessment of the Province of Warmia and Mazury From the user’s viewpoint, the downloadable offer of sets of assessment indicators is quite broad and organized according to domains. The database prepared by the GUS is distinguished by great clarity and can be used easily. It also allows the user to take advantage of graphic presentations of data, in the form of maps.
