Abstract:
Maintaining the integrity of bitemporal databases is a very complex task. Database management systems have different support capabilities, but they do not always meet the needs of databases with a full history of changes. The purpose of this paper is to present the nature of basic bitemporal operations ensuring the integrity of a bitemporal database with a full history of changes.
