Abstract: The article concentrates on the evaluation of the level of informatization in small and medium-sized enterprises. It provides a short analysis of changes in IT technologies, such as changes in hardware, software, communications in IT sector, as well as applied analysis, design and programming methods. The paper highlights the most important aspects related to the need of using IT technologies by companies. The level of implementation of IT technologies in a sample company and the approach to the use of technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises have been analysed. The article used the results of industrial research from the project no. POIG.01.03.01– 14–059/12.
