Abstract: The aim of the article is to show the possibilities of representing and acquiring knowledge in order to implement it in diagnostic systems of artificial intelligence. Particular attention was also paid to neural networks and fuzzy sets used for knowledge extraction and diagnostics. The paper is a part of the project no. POIG.01.03.01– 14–059/12.
