Abstract:
The most important barrier limiting the possibilities of automatic handling of public tasks is the low availability to the functions and contents of public registers by electronic means. One of the main reasons for this situation is, according to the author, the low quality of data collected in these registers. Meanwhile, there is no comprehensive, consciously coordinated system of testing and maintaining the required quality of public registers in Poland. The article justifies the need to implement such a system and indicates the need to carry out the necessary research projects.
