Abstract: Objective: The primary aim of this article is to analyse the significance and application of the concept of resilience within management sciences, to identify factors contributing to high organizational resilience, and to examine a case study of the Aksam company. Additionally, anathe article seeks to highlight the limitations of the conceptual construct of resilience and the negative aspects associated with the phenomenon of resilience. Methodology: A systematic review method was employed to analyse selected articles, alongside a case study analysis and a descriptive method, which facilitated the presentation of the origins and development of the concept of resilience. A SWOT analysis was also utilized to aggregate and organize the findings obtained. Results: As part of the conducted literature analysis, four approaches to resilience were identified (employee resilience, resilience as attention management within the organization, multifactorial organizational resilience, and resilience as a source of threats). Then, the crisis case in the company Aksam was analysed in light of each of the discussed approaches. Limitations/Research Implications: Resilience is a theoretical construct that is relatively new in management sciences. The analysis presented was based on relatively limited empirical research findings and source literature. Originality/Value: The analysis contributes to a deeper understanding of resilience in the context of the science of management and quality. It also identifies research gaps and limitations related to resilience within management contexts.
