Abstract:
Globalization, a present phenomenon with strong influences in Europe that concerns economic, social, political, territorial area, also plays an important role at large extent in the scientific sphere. Forecasting effects and manifestations in many sectors at European level, has led to the development of a long-term strategy that takes into account and puts in the foreground development and innovation as key issues to further development. Europe 2020 is a European Union program that offers a series of courses of action embodied in the objectives and measures that can be implemented nationwide. Research and innovation is an important component of the current framework, representing a basic pillar.
