The power function of conditional tests of the Rasch model

Clemens Draxler () and Johannes Zessin

AStA Advances in Statistical Analysis, 2015, vol. 99, issue 3, 367-378

Abstract: In this paper, a general expression of the power function of conditional or pseudo-exact tests of the Rasch model is derived. It allows the determination of the power of conditional tests against various alternative hypotheses. A number of relevant examples frequently occurring in practice are discussed. With respect to computations, a Monte Carlo approach is suggested enabling the approximation of the exact power in applications. Copyright Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2015
