Abstract: Abstract Intuitionistic fuzzy sets represent a generalization of the concept of fuzzy sets and has many applications to different fields of science. This paper applies the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy sets to genetics. More precisely, we consider some examples of hypergroupoids associated to biological inheritance, construct sequences of join spaces and find their intuitionistic fuzzy grades.
