Abstract:
Abstract The following manuscript is a book review of J.D. Farmer's "Making Sense of Chaos: A Better Economics for a Better World" (2024). The review focuses on the importance of Farmer's work and its meaning in the ongoing discussion on the crisis of economics. Special attention is paid to a popular science aspect of the book and its ambitions connected to modern global challenges – the overgrowth of the financial system and climate change.
