Abstract:
Abstract In their book “Why managers matter: the perils of the bossless company”, Nicolai Foss and Peter Klein evaluate and react to a long stream of popular press publications that advocate for the elimination of managers in business firms. This comment summarizes the key arguments of the book and offers an extension of why Foss and Klein’s criticisms are valid.
