Abstract: Abstract Wu et al. (Nature 566:378–382, 2019. https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586-019-0941-9 ) recently proposed a new, citation-based index of ‘disruptiveness’ that is based on a dynamic network measure of technological change. In this study, we present and discuss papers published in Scientometrics between 2000 and 2010 with the highest (positive) disruption index.
