Abstract: Abstract The article discusses the socioeconomic problems of the development of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The dynamics of the main macroeconomic indicators for 2000–2014 has been analyzed. Anti-crisis measures of the government of the PMR, the direction of economic and trade cooperation between Transdniestria and Russia for 2015–2017, and their stabilizing role for the republic’s economy have been described.
