Abstract: Abstract Increased generation of production and consumption waste is analyzed depending on the level and trends of national economic development. A forecast of waste trends and composition data is examined in terms of international comparisons. An assessment is made of the development prospects for the waste management industry as whole. Estimates are given for structural characteristics of the morphological composition of waste.
