Abstract:
Abstract— The article is devoted to the problems of economic partnership between the European Union and India. Consideration of the prospects for expanding their trade and economic interaction is of interest to Russia, historically connected with long-term economic relations with this circle of countries. According to their senior management, the EU and India are the most important “strategic partners.” In terms of formal statistics, the EU is India’s main economic partner, ranking first in its foreign trade. It discusses the difficulties in reaching agreement on a number of unresolved issues of creating a common free trade market between the EU and India. The prospects and directions of economic cooperation between the EU and India are evaluated.
