Abstract:
Abstract— The paper is devoted to the study of the process of motorization in retrospect in different countries of the world. It analyzes significant cross-country differences in the levels of provision of the population with passenger cars, which are not explained by the difference in the levels of economic development and geographical location. Considerable attention is paid to the history and patterns of motorization in Russia.
