Abstract: Abstract— The article discusses the evolution of the system of concepts related to housing renewal, the integrated urban development (IUD) program, features of its legal regulation, and its socioeconomic aspects. Original results of statistical analysis of key indicators of Russian IUD projects are presented and provided with a classification by significant features. Global experience of engaging public–private partnership in integrated urban development is studied; recommendations for its adaptation to Russian realities are given. The presented analysis of IUD as a long-term systemic factor of sustainable growth of regional economies confirms the relevance of developing a methodology for monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting the influence of this factor on indicators of regional social and economic development as an interdisciplinary research direction. Such research would have practical applications for the purposes of making adjustments to regional development strategies and developing new federal and regional integrated urban development programs.
