Abstract:
Abstract— The paper discusses the main directions of interaction between economic and climate policy. It is stated that, despite external shocks and an increased level of uncertainty, the climate agenda remains in the focus of attention of the Government of the Russian Federation. The significant contribution of Russia to the achievement of the global goals of climate regulation is emphasized. The position of Russia regarding the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the medium and long term is substantiated. The important role of scientific research in substantiating the national climate policy is noted.
